Mission
The South Shore Corvette Club (SSCC), located in Weymouth, Massachusetts is devoted to the pleasures of the Corvette. The style, ride, sounds, and the spectacle of driving one of the best sports cars built in the world today.
Philanthropy
In recent years, the club has added as part of its mission, charitable donations. We have targeted local charities, most notable the local food pantries located in the towns of our members. We provide cash gifts at the holidays.
We chose local causes because most are staffed by volunteers and 100% of our donation goes directly to the needy. We encourage everyone to support your local food pantry.
History
The South Shore Corvette Club was founded in 1962 by a few individuals who owned Corvettes and wanted to meet others who shared an interest in the cars.

Originally, the SSCC primary focus was car shows. Car shows continued to be the main focus of the club until 1997. At that time, the club stopped holding its own show. We have many members who continue to participate in other Corvette club car shows throughout the New England area.
Today, the SSCC has grown to over 100 families. While it is our shared love of Corvettes that is the foundation for our club, it is our members unique backgrounds, knowledge and enthusiasm which makes our club successful and active.
You will now find us at our weekly Cruise Night during the warmer months, in addition to many activities and events we hold throughout the entire year for our members. We pride ourselves on our charitable contributions throughout the year to local agencies and causes which would not be possible without the active and caring membership of the SSCC.
We love to meet fellow Vette enthusiasts
